ABOUT
Synthesis is a conceptual design project inspired by my lifelong fascination with motorsport, automotive engineering, and the aesthetics of racing culture. The project merges the spirit of racing with my vision for sportswear design - exploring the balance between functionality, utility, and energy through form and detail.

Since childhood, I’ve been drawn to the raw energy, team spirit, and dynamics of racing. The engineering and aesthetics of sports cars always impressed me, and I believe many of the principles behind car design align with my approach to sportswear - At its core, design is a universal language that speaks to all of us.
Some of my earliest memories are of weekends spent with my grandfather, watching Formula 1 on an old TV — moments that remain deeply special to me. Today, I still feel that same excitement when watching Porsche’s Road to Le Mans, a series that captures the intensity and complexity of racing through Michael Fassbender’s journey to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This story became one of the key inspirations behind this project.
To me, a sports car is more than engineering — it’s a sculpture in motion that evokes emotion, excitement, and connection for both the driver and the audience. It’s a timeless creation that has inspired people since the very first automobile was built.

This project began long before I became a designer. As a kid, I spent weekends watching Formula 1 - fascinated not only by the speed and precision of the sport but also by the people behind it. The drivers, engineers, and pit crew all wore uniforms that differed in style and function, yet shared the same team colors and graphic identity.
What always struck me was the contrast between the futuristic, almost spaceship-like design of the cars and the much simpler, utilitarian look of the clothing worn by the teams. I kept asking myself: Why doesn’t the apparel receive the same attention to detail, innovation, and design excellence as the cars themselves?
Years later, as a designer, I finally decided to explore that question. This project is my attempt to bridge that gap - to imagine garments that stand next to race cars not as accessories, but as equals. I believe clothing deserves the same level of precision, performance, and aesthetic intent as the machines it serves.

In my designs, the greatest challenge lies in achieving harmony between functionality and aesthetics - always guided by the principle that form follows function, much like in great car design.
In this project, I began by analyzing the core needs of a functional garment - defining what each piece must deliver, whether it’s breathability, storage, utility, or protection. From there, I explored these key areas on a 3D avatar - a digital representation of the human body - to identify zones that required special pattern work, fabric treatment, or creative solutions for complex challenges.
Because my 3D process is built on digital simulations, the work involves constant iteration and refinement - as not everything that looks good works in practice, and sometimes the opposite is true. Yet it’s precisely this pursuit of balance - between clean lines and functional performance - and the intricate discoveries made along the way, that ultimately define the final design.

Driven by my ongoing obsession with footwear, I created sneaker concepts inspired by racing, running, and automotive design. By exploring ergonomic principles, my goal was to achieve a clean, performance-driven aesthetic.
Designed with racing drivers in mind, the shoe is made for everyday wear on and off the track - during dry or wet sessions alike. To reduce the risk of accidents or injuries, the shoe replaces traditional laces with a single center zipper, allowing quick entry and exit while keeping comfort at the core of the design. The upper features a dual-material construction: one layer provides protection against wet weather, while the other is breathable and flexible, offering a balance of practicality and comfort. Hexagonal patterns on the upper reference automotive materials and detailing, giving the shoe a technical look inspired by car design.

In racing, color plays a crucial role in defining identity and distinguishing teams. Beyond recognition, it carries emotion - connecting the audience to the spirit and energy of the sport. I chose the following color combinations to capture that same balance of emotion and function, translating the essence of motorsport into garment design.
White represents purity and precision, red conveys passion and intensity, and black embodies power and elegance. I’ve always admired how these colors express both performance and personality - whether in racing teams, car brands, or specific model lineups.
In this project, color blocking was used to emphasize garment construction, panel placement, and functionality. It became an exploration of clean, refined design - much like automotive livery, where color flows along body panels to create a distinctive and dynamic aesthetic.

“The combination of components or elements to form a connected whole.”
I’ve adopted the word Synthesis as a guiding philosophy in my work. As a designer, I follow curiosity - combining unexpected sources of inspiration that evolve into distinctive concepts. To me, it represents the essence of design: bringing diverse ideas together to create something new and unforeseen.
In my practice, I focus on advanced concept explorations by experimenting with different aspects of design. My goal has always been to master 3D tools and merge them with my background in sportswear - creating a process that blends craft and technology. No matter how much I’ve achieved over the years, I still see myself as a student - always learning, always searching for new possibilities in design.
This project is the culmination of my digital experiments and conceptual ideas, built around a simple ethic: Explore, Analyze, Define, Improve, Repeat.

The 3D design process is a modern reflection of classical tailoring principles - Only now, within a fully digital environment. This approach allows me to explore and refine concepts quickly and sustainably, before a single piece of fabric is used.

By working with custom human-like 3D avatars, I can create and simulate patterns in real time - accelerating the design process and allowing a level of precision that would take much longer through traditional methods. By studying body heat maps and movement, I’ve developed a distinctive design language guided by the principle that form follows function. Each panel and material is placed with intent, wrapping around the body to provide ergonomic support.

In this project, I set out to build a systematic approach to graphic design — one driven by purpose, clarity, and functionality. I challenged myself to create a series of informative symbols that visually communicate the design logic behind each product - its purpose, use, and function.
At its core, my passion for motorsport is fueled by emotion. When you think about it, emotions come from our own inner chemistry - the invisible reactions that drive human behavior. That idea inspired me to explore organic forms and molecular patterns, studying how nature’s beautifully structured elements could shape a new visual language.
The outcome became something both scientific and poetic - a collection of graphics that connects design, technology, and human emotion.

My workflow evolves with every project as I continue to push the boundaries of design and the latest 3D tools. A key part of my process is CLO3D - a digital pattern-making software that enables me to create and simulate garments on human-like avatars, uncovering design challenges and refining complex details with precision. To bring these ideas closer to reality, I use KeyShot Studio to build material libraries, explore color combinations, and experiment with fabrics, achieving the exact look and feel I envision. Within KeyShot, I also craft environments and shape light to define mood and atmosphere - the final touch that gives each design life, depth, and emotion.
